How to send to Rakuten Global Express warehouse

STEP 1 Prepare a box and pack the goods

Please also check the Checklist for packing and shipping.

If you pack the goods by yourself

Please prepare cardboard boxes and other materials for packing. Please be sure to include the receipt for the product.

*Packing materials can be purchased at 100 yen stores, home improvement store, and some hotels.

If you directly ship from the store

Please tell the staff at the store that you wish to have the product shipped domestically, and ask for a "発払い" or "元払い" and proceed to "STEP3 Fill out a shipping label".

*Please be sure to include the receipt when packing your items.

STEP 2 Bring the package

Please bring the package to a convenience store or the hotel's reception where you are staying and ask them to ship. Please use a shipping label for "発払い" or "元払い" (prepayment).

Have you completed the ID verification?

If you have not completed, please go to My Page and proceed ID verification.
If you have not completed ID verification procedure, the message "Identity verification is required" will appear on My Page.
If you are already in the process, please wait a little while until Rakuten Global Express completes the verification process of your documents.

Have you verified that regulation items are NOT included?

Some items, such as flammable or perishable items, cannot be shipped internationally. Please make sure to check the Products that cannot be delivered overseas page in advance.

Have you checked to make sure it is the right weight and size for delivery?

For shipments within Japan, generally the total length, width, and height must be 160cm and 25kg or less.
In addition, for shipments from Japan to overseas, there are weight and size restrictions for each shipping method. Please check the Pricing page in advance.

Is the product unused and unopened?

We cannot send items that have already been opened and used, even if they were purchased from a store in Japan. Please send them to Rakuten Global Express in the same condition in which they were purchased at the store.
We also cannot accept other personal items.

Have you verified that duty free items are not included?

We do not accept duty-free items. I appreciate your understanding.

Did you include a receipt for the purchase?

We will need to confirm the number of items and amount of merchandise. Please include the receipt of the product.

Have you pre-registered your product on My Page?

Please pre-register your items at My Page to ensure that your baggage will be kept in safekeeping.
Please note that we may not be able to handle your request if you do not pre-register.

  • I am not sure if the item can be shipped internationally.

    Some products and countries are not available for international shipping. Please check Products that cannot be delivered overseas before purchasing.

  • Is it possible to ship personal items?

    We do not accepct personal items. Only items with a receipt purchased in Japan will be accepted.

  • Can you deliver duty-free items?

    We do not accept duty-free items. I appreciate your understanding.

  • I do not know the size limit for large/heavy items.
